Hi all!!! I have gone to a pre op meeting and a support meeting. I meet with dietician next week and with physical therepist. Then second dietician in June. Have not been scheduled for psycologist yet but that will come. I went to support meeting last night and kind of did a flip flop about if i want to be banded or have a gastric by pass.

But i did not meet anyone that has been banded. I think i have found the right place. I will be reading and lurking and learning. Glad I have found you all!!!!! My surgeon will be Dr Toder in Bangor Maine if all goes well and my insurance bcbs pays for it.

Good luck on getting insurance approval! Hopefully they don't take too long with their decision to approve you.

This is a REALLY good place to be if you don't know anyone in person who has had this type of surgery.
