4me4them 381 Posted October 9, 2014 So I started listening to some old music on my ipod today and two songs spoke to me in a different way than from when I listened to them back in the day. One was U2s "Some Days are Better than Others" which I used to like for the music...but today it reminded me that the journey to a healthy me is not going to be a straight line...there will be some days better than others. The second was an Alanis Morrisette song called "Not As We". The song is basically about starting over after a bad relationship...but it spoke to me in a different way as I get nearer to my surgery date. The chorus has the phrase "Day one and I'll start again" which I think is what resonated with me. So then I got to thinking wonder if other people have a song that inspires, motivates or that just resonates differently with them as they are on their own WLS journeys....
