bdcsail 72 Posted October 9, 2014 My husband & I along with our teenagers are heading to Puerto Rico for Christmas. I will be 3 months post op. I just started back to swimming at 2.5 weeks post op and thought about working with a trainer at about 6 weeks post op. For those veterans do you think this one day adventure trip will be too much. It includes rock climbing, zip lining and repelling. I will be within their weight requirement . Yeah
Mike4132 256 Posted October 9, 2014 I can't answer the question but I did just add an activity to my "things I want to do after WLS" list. Zip lining!
Forsythia 882 Posted October 9, 2014 You should be cleared to do vigorous exercise by 6 weeks post op. Hiking, biking, zip lining, lifting heavy weights. Unless you have some extenuating circumstances.
