Bigdog56 17 Posted October 8, 2014 i think with surgery being imminent and me being on a liquid diet for the week leading up, I find myself thinking about some things... but really I think sometimes it's about fear of loss sometimes rather than focus on living my life LONGER and BETTER... anyway, I digress... I find myself wondering if anyone who has had surgery that smoked cigars prior to surgery, can or has smoked occasionally AFTER surgery... I think I'm just in mourning right now, as funny as that might sound... any thoughts from those with experience would be real helpful...
catdaddy 232 Posted October 8, 2014 Hey Bigdog56, Keep the chin up, you wouldn't believe the change coming to you. Yah, I smoked over a pack a day until the end of last year when I went cold turkey. After the second week I was good to go. I had the RNY mid August and I couldn't be more happy. Expect some pain and maybe a set back but the future is now in your control. Good luck.
