Need Puree recipes asap!

Recommended Posts

I'm not finding many puree stage recipes that I can eat (5days post op) I tried puree chicken in broth and it grossed me out. It totally liquefied and I felt like I just cremated the chicken. Maybe I'll do better with veggie purees. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would say seasoning and cooking your own chicken breast the way you like it ... And then putting it in the good processor and then wen it's chopped up as much as u can then add a couple spoons of LIGHT mayo and that's a good chicken salad! Also you can do an egg salad the same way and it's pure protein! I don't like tuna or any seafoods but you can also have tuna like you would have a sandwich ... Just without bread

I'm exactly one week out, hoping to transition to full liquids tomorrow but anxiously awaiting the purée stage. This is funny bc I was horrified by it a week and 2 days ago lol. Thanks for the great link!

I'm starting puréed foods today, 2 weeks post op. Had to run an errand over lunch and saw Boston Market and got some mashed sweet potatoes. Best thing I've had in 3 weeks. Hope is goes well and stays down.
