Just dance

Recommended Posts

This weekend I started doing the just dance wii games for my exercise. I prefer the Michael Jackson because I can stand all the songs and dances. At the end of three or four dances I'm outta breath and I'm soaked in sweat. Idk if anyone else finds these effective but my arms legs and butt muscles sure are sore.

With me, it's Richard Simmons....yes, I am that old!
Although, I will confess that Shaun T is that easy to look at when I do the Hip Hop Abs.

Yes, I am that young at heart! Boop Boop De Doop. ;)

We have some of the Just Dance games but I've never tried them. Perhaps I'll do that once I'm released by my doctor to exercise again. My favorite exercise is simply running though but this sounds like something that would be great for those cold, bad weather winter days :-)

I love Just Dance! My son and I do it together. We get both a good workout and some good laughs at the same time.

I went out dancing with my new man Friday night and we danced about 2 hours straight. First time I've done that since I was 21 or so, many many moons ago. We were just cutting up and having fun, dancing like crazy and I think it's the best workout I've had since surgery!

I play zumba fitness on the xbox kinect when i want a change its great, the routines are all different and fun to do, it scores you on your moves and keeps track of your progress and calories burnt. Great for a laugh with friends/family too :-)

Hi, this seems familiar to me. "Just Dance" can be a simple form of exercise or workout designed to be a rhythm game. You may connect it through smartphone to your television set and be able to view it perfectly. Its just like you start to connect to your web and may start dancing with your selected songs. I sometimes do this with my daughter for at least an hour and I think, I was able to lose some weight. I recommend this to all. It's an easy way and its fun!

I used to love Dance Central. We don't have an Xbox anymore so I can't play.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
