Review for Dr. Michael Orris, Tempe AZ

Recommended Posts

Dr. Orris has been my doctor for over 3 years. He has performed many fills and endoscopies. He is very knowledgeable and never rushes you through the appointment. He answers all questions and takes your own opinion into consideration. His staff and clinic are very professional. I would highly recommend him and the Weight Loss Institute of AZ.

I have just met Dr Orris, and I am very excited to go to WLIA, and have decided to have Dr. Orris to a lap band. His staff and him were incredible in my first visit, and took the time to go through everything. I highly recommend Dr. Orris.

Everyone at WLIA is so helpful and friendly. You receive personal attention at every visit with the dietitian which is very helpful to optimize your weight loss success. I would recommend WLIA for anyone who needs to lose 80 pounds or more and is tired of the yo yo dieting. Dr Orris is very professional and clear in his instructions so I never felt afraid.

After a friend had surgery through another company that was just horrible to her, she started going to WLIA instead and the difference was like night and day. Dr. Orris and his staff has given her more success and a support system that wasn't available elsewhere. Because of her reviews, I picked WLIA! The group meetings are friendly and you feel welcome every time you attend. Michael Murphy is the best Nutritionist you could ask for. Everyone on the staff have been friendly and helpful.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
