I cannot tolerate the sweet and I have never liked sweet drinks. Even the Greek Yogurt has tons of sugar in it. What I found is:

Genepro http://www.musclegen.net/ .... this is oderless and tasteless and does not clump. You can add it to hot or cold....or just sprinkle over your food. This stuff is great. One tablespoon equals a scoop of whey and has 30 grams of Protein. It is approved by John Hopkins and has 96% absorbtion. You can also order it from Amazon. I fix a Crystal Light and a scoop. I understand you can contact the website and they will send you a sample?

note: Ok, women, this is a "guys" thread and /or question please. So unless you're trying out for women's bodybuilding championships, how it works with you is not what I'm looking for......but thanks anyway.

Saw this in another thread and it really impressed me. Have any of you "Men" used this product and if you have, what is your take on it? Results ?? Does it have any medical warnings or restrictions? What about side effects? Taste? etc.etc.

Companies are always making outrageous claims and rarely deliver. Although the original poster of this product does tout it's desirability, she is female and I do believe men and women have vastly different guidelines and goals when it comes to supplements, workouts and body muscle etc.

Additionally if you haven't used this particular product but are using a different one that provides substantial Protein gains with similar properties.....please speak up and let us know. ;)

Hi Bill:

I have used several protien products on my journey so far. As far as taste, I like powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, Premeir Protien, and Muscle Milk. You have to compare to your surgons requirements to see if these fit. These are low sugar high protien.

I am currently haveing to use Optifast 800 for 14 days on my preopt liquid diet. it is not as good tasting as the other products for me but this is very subjective. It is ok. Nashawa website has many brands you can by single serving packetes to try before you buy in quantity.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
