MisforMimi 760 Posted October 6, 2014 Anyone seen this before? My doctor a naturopath gave me this at our last appointment. It's an amino acid based therapy that is FDA approved so could be covered by insurance. This particular one is indicated for obesity and hypertension and chronic pain. The idea is that people who are in chronic pain like fibromyalgia and arthritis are depleted in the amino acids that trigger feelings of satiety because they are being upregulated for pain relief.....I'm trying it, I feel less hungry, but I'm still having the surgery.... curious if anyone had seen/heard of this before...
