Of course I would like dramatic results since I feel I have changed my eating habits, calorie intake and exercise routine. I use to loose more on my fad diets but then regained. I sure hope this slowly but surely method wins the Game

have you had any adjustments. - my loss seems to come and go.. also with up's and downs. but for the most part it's a downward slope.. the first few months post banding can be some of the hardest - till you find that "green Zone". hang in there.. and also keep in mind slow is so much better for your body i've lost 70 over the last year not where i want to be yet but so far my body/skin have had the chance to bounce back with me. :D

Slow weight loss is hard. This is why I only told two people in my life I had wls. Even they keep expecting me to drop huge amounts per week

I feel my weight is coming off slow also. I was sleeved on 10/9 and have only lost 19 since. I was told I should lose 30 my first month. Wish they never told me this so I wouldn't feel like a failure at only 19 loss. I do admit, I am not walking every day. That probably has a lot to do with it. But I am still hurting when I walk. (back mostly)

AWE hang in there I think it varies so much person to person we can't fit ourselves into a mold about it all.

I've lost about 55-60 for the last three weeks i go from 315 to 310 randomly I weight myself daily its annoying.

BUT my close are all falling and loose fitting and I see the inches and changes to my actual body.

I'm shrinking in places I did not know would or could shrink lol

Hang in there don't let it define you and try to walk more if you can. I know I'm working a bit more everyday for more steps I wear a step tracker and I've gone from average 400 before surgery to average of 1200 a day and some days over 2000 I do a lot more for myself now so it adds up quickly.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
