While true to an extent, it's not 12 months "see how much you can lose" and then on day 366, you're done at whatever weight.

Just stick to your program, listen to your body, get your Protein in and don't ignore hunger signals when they return. In a way, this is your chance to *not* be on a crazy diet, but to get a chance to eat a balanced diet for life.

As for B12, I have a lot more malabsorption with MGB compared to RNY, and I'm actually increasing B12 in my blood by way of sublinguals, so that's neat.
