Bandage Allergy?

Yes had surgery om 29 sept went into get staples the nurse said on you are kind of red. That was 6 Oct yoga I have big welts when they took off bandages it got worse I am now telling anyone when I have any surgery I am allergic. My stomach is so sore and red it hurts.

I'm allergic to adhesives too. It's horrible! I had my gallbladder out and the surgical glue didn't bother me. They used almost no tape over the bandages just placed them (they used 2 small piece near my belly button incision) which they removed a few hours later. Just stress how important it is to find other methods to cover wounds. I've even used the tape they use in the NICU that's supposed to be gentle-still was bad!

I am allergic also the welts are just going away yesterday is the first I have not had to use Meds on all the welts, that is two weeks.
