lapbandmin 22 Posted October 4, 2014 Hey! I'm counting the days until my surgery date...October 6th. Got a week off of work and trying to get everything in order. I'm nervous, excited, scared, thrilled, whirlwind! I'm away from my family, living three states away, relocated for a job. Have some friends that will take care of me if I need. I've struggled with my weight all my life. I can't even remember what it was like to be smaller or to eat a meal and feel full. I'm so ready to start the next step of this journey. pink dahlia 2,513 Posted October 4, 2014 Ooooh ! I'm so excited for you ! I took a week off too, so glad I did, I needed that time to adjust and rest. The 1st few days I was tired and sore, after that it was smooth sailing ! I started looking and feeling better right away as I was eating better and loosing weight . I just followed my Dr.s orders and was very happy with the weight that started coming off. Hope all goes well for you on Monday ! Good luck !!

lapbandmin 22 Posted October 6, 2014 Thanks for yr kind words and encouragement. It was resch for tomoro 6am. So excited and scared. Think I have everythg I need. Was disappointed today. There was no discussion abt cost of the procedure outside of being covered and deductible a d copays..then they call me to confirm my apt and discussed my portion . Apparently the band itself is not covered. Kinda disappointed that my dr office has sprung this on me now. Will not let it get me down. Ready to be on the road to recovery and start my new journey.
