Susan909 52 Posted December 15, 2014 I researched the heck out of the sleeve surgery... Risks ect..... Talked to my surgeon at length about the risks. He convinced me they are very small. He said the biggest risk was developing a DVT ( blood clot) after. He said they would give me blood thinners before surgery. The benefits FAR out weigh the risks. Believe that you're going to be just fine and you will be.

Mspebbles22 10 Posted December 23, 2014 Thanks susan909 I found drinking from a water bottle doesn't cause as much discomfort or gas as drinking from a cup so I have been able to really increase fluids today
Susan909 52 Posted December 23, 2014 That's great . Spoons were tough for me to use at first, got to much air in. I'm at the puréed stage now. It's going pretty well. More options anyway.
