Gee Vann 12 Posted October 3, 2014 Hello everyone. Wow its been a crazy, nerve racking, and at times discouraging past 9 months. I was very diligent in completing all my required appointments. My last one was the sleep study where they discovered that I had some irregular heartbeats while I slept. So I had to go back to cardiologist after being cleared for surgery previously. He put me on a holter moniter for 21 days and on the 16th day he discovered I had atrial fribulation (afib). So now I have to take three medications for that and I did an echocardiogram which was good so he finally recleared me for surgery. My projected surgery date was supposed to have back in September. Today I FINALLY have definate date in November....YEAHHHHHH!!!!!! Im so excited, anxious and scarred all at the same time. If there is anyone who's gone through this or similar please share to ease my concerns about the atrial fribulation subsiding after weight loss or being able to stop the three medications they put me on for it.
