How are all my new sleevers doin?!

I learned my lesson yesterday. . I will not do that anymore until my doctor approves of it.. I have a ? For you when you got out of surgery when did you start taking you Vitamins

My Multivitamin is a capsule, the kind you can open up. So they wanted me to try to dump the contents into my drinkable yogurt a few days out and mix it in, but that was SO GROSS. I just couldn't do it. I was allowed to actually start swallowing the whole capsule at 7 days out, so that was when I was able to actually start taking all three of the Vitamins I was supposed to every day (one with each meal). I had to wait a little longer than that before I could start taking my Calcium, because those are really big horsepills and I was worried I wouldn't be able to handle them, so I started those maybe two weeks out. I'm also on a sublingual B12, which I was obviously able to start taking right away, since it dissolves under the tongue. As for all of my other supplements that I had been taking pre-op, I was allowed to restart them 7 days out, but I just gradually reintroduced them one at a time and I would spread them out throughout the day, instead of trying to take them all at once (I was on garlic, coq10, Vitamin C, and Omega 3). Oh, and my nutritionist also wanted me to start a probiotic, so I started that 7 days out.

I am also on a prescription for birth control and I took that all the way through after discussing it with my surgeon. I didn't miss a single day of it, although on the day of my surgery, I had to wait until after surgery to take it, whereas I usually always take it in the morning.

I'm still on my puréed foods, but there are sometimes it just seems to feel sore, lots of gas I think, but it takes forever to eat small quantities unless it's something very smooth like baby food. Tea and liquids I don't have much problem with either.

Tonight I think I ate one bite too many and had a puke attack or dumping and I just don't know where that sweet spot is yet and many people say that it's too soon to tell since I'm still having nerves come back in my tummy

Honestly I think it was dumping! I got sweaty and nauseous and felt miserable

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
