Did anyone start their journey weighing over 400lbs?

Although I don't weigh 400, I do weigh about 360. I'm just in the beginning stages of my journey. I have set small goals for myself and have a realistic outlook. I know I will never be a "Cindy Crawford" or any super model for that matter! I just want to be free of the junk in my trunk!! I want to be able to volunteer in my kids school without worrying if they're gonna be made of! My mom was over weight when I was little and I would get made fun of.... It's horrible! It's a memory that has never went away! I just want to get healthy for myself and my family!

Pretty close, 381. It's hard when you have to lose more weight than some peoples beginning weight at the time of their surgery. But, I really try not to get stuck in that mindset and take joy in the fact that I'm 70 lbs down! 56 lbs pre-surgery and 14 post. My surgery was 4 weeks ago today. Blessings
