carly214 0 Posted September 28, 2014 I have had medicaid for the past 4 years. Started the required 6 month supervised diet and exercise in April. I have jumped through every required hoop and completed every test except next months weigh in...and I just found out that I will no longer be covered by Medicaid starting Oct. 1st. I read a post on here where someone said that their insurance didn't cover the surgery and she signed up for different coverage on the Obama Healthcare site and it covers the surgery.
