gregthegroove 130 Posted September 26, 2014 Right after surgery for the first week or so, while I was on liquids, I honestly thought the Dr did nothing to my stomach and I questioned if I'd ever feel restriction? The answer is YES. I can only eat a few bites and I'm really full. It's quite the difference!
MyKidsMom89 70 Posted September 26, 2014 How are you feeling overall, and how long has it been since your surgery? Any regrets?
Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted September 26, 2014 I know it's weird.
gregthegroove 130 Posted September 27, 2014 I'm almost 3 weeks out. Started eating soft foods and deli meat etc... And it's night and day difference. I'm doing good. I still have a sore exit main incision and my abs are sore and have a bit of pain if I twist, but that's been the only thing uncomfortable was the incision pain. Drinking and swallowing got better each day. If I eat too much on my spoon or too fast I get some "full" feeling at the bottom of my throat. Other than that, not bad. I've lost 18lbs since surgery Sept 10 and 65lbs total with preop.
