I am looking for a new Water bottle and wondered if any of you had any recommendations for brands/models. Ideally I'd like something double-walled, as my current water bottle sweats all over the place. I'd also like something large. I'd prefer 32 oz., but 24+ would probably be okay. And I really need something that will fit in the cup-holder of my car, which is a pretty standard sized cup holder (will hold a can of pop or a 20 oz. pop bottle, but not a SoBe bottle).

Any suggestions?

My hands down favorite is the Yeti Rambler tumbler. They make a 20oz and a 32oz. I have both and each fit in standard cup holders. You won be disappointed!

I see some of the reviews on Amazon complain about the lid. Have you had any issues with that?

I've been using the Bubba 34oz. It fits in my car cup holder and stays cold forever.

I've had no issues with the lids at all. It does have a drinking hole in it so it's not leak proof if you tip it over. (It's a tumbler style lid -vs- a screw on, Water tight cap.)

Of the 2 I actually like the 20oz best. I tend to drink more per day with the 20 also. Not sure why, must be something with my mind that makes me drink more with a smaller container.

We just bought the "blender bottle", they have a 28 and 20 oz. Size. It's supposed to be a shaker bottle for making up Protein Drinks etc. But I'm finding I reach for it the most for a water/drink bottle. Go read the reviews at Amazon (although I found mine at Wal-Mart).

I have two thermos bottles that I fill with ice water. One has a straw and the other has an opening to drink from. They are 18 and 20 oz I believe. They don't sweat and they keep ice water cold for at least 24 hours

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
