Roni24 3 Posted September 30, 2014 Alex, I'm glad you were featured. But the article would have been so much better if they focused on more success stories like yours and how you made the band work for you. To me the article was too negative. It's true that it's not an easy fix and there can be complications. But it IS a fix and many compliant banders find their lives totally transformed, all for the better. Anyway, although I would have liked the article to be more positive, it was still a good way to get some info out to the public. And you look fit and fantastic!!!! I thought it was good that the article didn't make it seem like once you have the surgery the weight will just magically fall off. The article shows that the surgery is only a tool and not a fix. It's the changes the person makes that determines if it will be a success or not. People need to be aware that it requires hard, dedicated work. That's my opinion anyways. Alex Brecher 10,515 Posted October 3, 2014 Alex You need to put a new pic up, because you look different than your profile pic but still keep the one of you fishing & the other one , congratulations on the article , they really should ask you to have us , show some of our before ,during & even some after pictures if they really want to know that it is not a fast cure all to weight loss ,but if we do our part then it works & yes sometimes there is complications , not to be foreseen, but many of us are succeeding at our weight loss surgeries which ever one that may be. Here are some pics which are more up to date: https://www.facebook.com/alex.brecher/photos
