Fox-E 27 Posted September 21, 2014 So I transitioned to soft foods a few days ago. I fill up very quickly, but I notice that within two hours I am hungry. Not acid churning hungry, I am HUNGRY!!! Typical? I'm supposed to eat 3 meals per day of Protein or veggie/fruit with 1 or 2 Protein shakes a day. The Protein Shakes seem to help curb the hunger for a bit, but this is more hunger than I felt on liquid diets!!!
mick 99 Posted September 21, 2014 I eat whenever I am hungry. Mostly Protein. I also drink a lot of fluids in between which, a lot of times, takes away that hungry feeling. Works for me. In fact i have to remember to eat.
Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted September 21, 2014 Fox-e I am the same way, I eat a couple bites every couple of hours. It's a pain in the butt. Like one slice of deli ham stuffs me. A couple of spoonfuls of sf pudding or Jello will help. I still drink 2 Protein Shakes a day to get enough Protein in. But mine is real hunger. I have never had head hunger I can listen to my stomach and didn't have gas pains except for one small one in my left shoulder about 4 days post op. So you are not alone.
