Evilah 1 Posted May 14, 2007 I read a couple of studies about this-- one said that banders have fewer c sections and gain less weight than overweight people (presumable people whoe need the band), another said that banders didn't have anymore complication than regular weight non-banded people I want to have another child also. kyethra 0 Posted May 14, 2007 I read studies about it too before being banded. We are looking at two or three years here (after I get done with grad school), but it was always a thought.
Evilah 1 Posted May 16, 2007 In contrast, another study O'Brien and colleagues presented at the obesity meeting found that pregnancy outcomes for women with stomach bands were comparable to normal-weight women, and better than for obese women without bands.
