Jolisue 112 Posted September 25, 2014 I'm blending Soups and really enjoying them. Sprinkled with a little Parmesan cheese and I'm happy!
AmyC65 34 Posted September 30, 2014 I was so excited for baby food bananas, I always loved them. (weird, I know.) but they made me sick. Too much sugar for such a small jar. I bought a Magic Bullet and I blend a lot of Soups.< /p>
LisaCO 169 Posted September 30, 2014 What kind of Soups do you blend?
AmyC65 34 Posted September 30, 2014 I did Panera broccoli & cheddar Soup, had very small servings of that in the beginning. Their baked potato Soup was too fatty, I think. It upset my stomach. Did beef stew and Campbells ABC vegetable soup, too. Now I'm past smooth foods and I can eat soup as-is.
LisaCO 169 Posted September 30, 2014 Ok thank you. I have surgery tomorrow. Was going to try baby food but I dont think I will now after reading the comments. Probably best for me to cook some vegetables & blend them myself. I dont want to get sick.
alibye 14 Posted October 2, 2014 I had made a nice 9 bean chili for my family, and pulled some of that out with extra broth and blended it really well in my nutribullet. It was lovely! I only ate 1 ounce very very slowly, just to be sure, because I had just recovered from terrible nausea during my first week out. But it worked, and tasted so so good! I did pull the beef chunks and corn pieces out before blending, since I am only 8 days out of surgery, and I don't want even a chance of a problem. So I made a been Soup purée that tasted like Wendy's chili.
Bonomo 0 Posted December 27, 2014 Hello, a question: how are you doing? I had roux en y 10 years ago and just bought a nutribullet rx. haven't used it yet as i'm concerned whether a nutritionist would recommend it. Have you talked to your nutritionist? what did they say about the nutribullet please? thank you.

anaxila 501 Posted December 28, 2014 I have 9 days until surgery. I asked my nutritionist last week about baby food, and she said no, no, no, absolutely not. Too many other things in there besides plain old Protein, especially waaay too much sugar. I was surprised, as I thought that would be an easy solution for the first phase. FindingSassy 38 Posted December 30, 2014 Anaxila, looks like we are a day apart. My surgery is on the 8th. Looking forward to the big day that I thought would never come!
