Beni 1,484 Posted September 28, 2014 I think this only proves, once more, that Protein is key to feeling full. Please tell me about nectar Protein Powder and where you get it?

AuriP 420 Posted September 28, 2014 Well I searched the net for the sample packs because I hate the taste of most Protein. I hate the gritty feel of protein as well. I ordered from smart body nutrition. There are 15 flavors of nectar most to be mixed with Water. So far I've tried vanilla, strawberry, and ice tea. They taste like they are supposed to, no gritty taste, goes down smooth. My only complaint is the smell, it smells exactly how formula smells, but I can deal with that by drinking it in a bottle instead of a cup SO I don't have to smell it. I liked the flavors so far. I like the fact that I can try all their flavors before committing to one or two of them.
AuriP 420 Posted September 28, 2014 I'm sorry Karen Allen, I know how it feels to be depressed. This road is not an easy one, couple that with every day to day family problems can easily lead to stress eating. Good thing is its not the end of the world and just think at least you didn't go on a binge. Do you have a running stroller? That may help with your grandson, so he can go and you don't have to worry about how far he can walk or not.

amylynns 802 Posted September 29, 2014 I'm surprised by all the different pre-op diets I'm seeing. I wonder why such differences between the Drs. So glad to see our October Group growing!! I'm struggling quite a bit with working out. Or should I say, I have ZERO motivation to work out! Ugh...I'm just worried I won't be able to get back into the groove of working out after surgery if I don't get back into it now, before surgery. I keep telling myself every morning that tonight I'll either go to the gym, or go walking, something--and then by evening I'm just exhausted. I already get up at 5:30 in the morning and I just can't get up earlier to work out. I've always done well in the past going right away after work, but our evening just seem to be full of kids activities, and I hate making my honey do it all....I also know I can't really use that as an excuse because he's said numerous times he's fine with handling stuff in the evenings, but it's just that "mom guilt" that gets me I guess. Sherrib4health 100 Posted September 29, 2014 Hi Everyone! This may be a duplicate of a post I already made but I don't see it so here goes again! I am now an October surgery. I WAS a September surgery (tomorrow) until I got a cold, last night! And boy is it progressing quickly! I'm going to be on a z-pack this week so now my surgery is scheduled for the 7th. Oddly, I feel better about that date. Not like I have a choice anyway! LOL So glad I found y'all!
