Does anyone have trouble viewing Bariatric Pal on the phone?

Every time I look at this site on the phone it freezes and unable to continue to use it. I don't think it's the phone cause I'll jump to Facebook and it's fine. Also the screen moves as I am reading a post and then somehow it magnifies what I am reading? The web is so much easier...

the last time i tried to access it on my tablet, it told me an update was required, and since then, nothing works. i'm bummed, now i can only use it when i'm at work and on a "real" computer.

There's another update coming soon (I think Alex said he's just waiting on Apple to release it) that's supposed to fix these issues.

Does anyone have problems with it on their computers too? Every time I use this site it almost brings my computer to a grinding halt. Such a memory hog!! I usually will open a couple of tabs that I want to read, then go read them and it just drags down my laptop.

Works great on my phone (note 3 with sprint) some features like search will force close it though

Can't now access BP on my iPad; only on my main computer and laptop. I don't have it on my Samsung yet.

Sometimes 'new and improved'...isn't :-) But I'm sure it'll get fixed. Not the end of the world.

By time it's up and running properly, we should have all lost a few more pounds and can update our status!

Curious if you're using our App or our mobile site ? We're still waiting on Apple to release our next iOS update which resolves most issues.

I have the exact same problem, and it froze and crashed as I was reading this post! I use the app on my iPhone, and consistently update apps when available.

I will be reading a thread and the ads make the response bump up and down as I'm reading them. When I try to scroll to get back to where I was, the app freezes and then crashes and returns me to my phone's home screen. On occasion, the app opens back up, taking me to the main page.

Yes! Ever since I installed the new version on my iPhone I have had problems with it freezing all the time.

@@Ken S., i'm not sure what version i'm using, i'll check when i get home (tablet's there). here is what happened:

1. i opened the app on my tablet

2. i got the message from you saying i needed to upgrade, click here for android users. that's the only page i can access at this time.

3. clicked there and was brought to google play store's bariatricpal page, saying that it was installed, but showing no upgrade to install

4. that's where i'm stuck. can't find any upgrade anywhere, and can't get past your message on the app.

thanks for any help you can provide! i'll check for version in about 3 hrs from now.

@@jessiquoi Before you check your android version number, please check again to see if an upgrade is now showing for BP on the Google Play Store.
