faithmd 14 Posted May 7, 2007 I've read that some folks split them in half and put them in drinks in the moring and the afternoon. That way they only use one per day, and get just enough Protein in each for good absorption.
Lucy 0 Posted May 7, 2007 I have some of the bottled Isopure drinks. They taste like kool aid, which isn't my favorite, but it could certainly be worse. I've just been cutting them with Water -- it reduces the intense taste and then I'm not drinking all the Protein at once.
LauraleeD 0 Posted May 7, 2007 that's a good idea. Yes, the icky sweet kool aid taste isn't my thing either. I hadn't thought of cutting them with Water. Try the New Whey shooter - 1.5 ounces (half a tube) is a quick hit, then you can go back to nice, plain cool refreshing, unsweetened water.
edieparks 2 Posted May 8, 2007 Mary Thumbs up for the BBQ flavored soy crisps. My knees went weak . I love them. Has anybody tried the Progresso chicken cheese Enchilada Soup? I found mine at Walmart . I pms faith and ask her to let us know where the "true" products can be found. edie
Lisa99 1 Posted May 8, 2007 when you're in the liquid stage, you can add unflavored Protein powder to Soups, Jello, crystal light, just about anything. I did it for both liquid and mushy stage and had no problems getting in enough Protein. The brand I use is called "Any Whey".
faithmd 14 Posted May 9, 2007 I have found the True Lemon, Lime and Orange products at most any grocery store. Most carry at least the Lemon and the Lime. I found the Plus variety in Orange at Target. It is in the juice aisle in most of the stores. One place I found it with the koolaid.
WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted May 12, 2007 Wow... got my order of veggie chips today and I really like them. I got them here: http://www.jdfinefoods.com/ They might need a bit of flavor for some of you, (dips, fake butter, Peanut Butter, etc.) but I really like them. It's a GREAT snack and I have to say, for as much as I got I am very satisfied with the price. I got 2 lbs of veggie chips (one container is for a friend of mine) and a four pack of dried fruit. The blueberries and apples are GREAT! Haven't tried the peaches or pineapple yet. I'm totally impressed. If you are looking to get veggies in and just plain don't like them or can only eat crunchy things, I suggest this stuff. Go to the above link, click on dried fruits. Go to page two and veggies chips are the very last item.

NoWorry 0 Posted May 15, 2007 I love the packets of True Lemon and True Orange. I haven't tried the True Lime yet. They are basically dried lemon, lime or orange flavors, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners. They come in regular (which are about 40 pkts per box for $3.99) and Plus which gives you 100% Vitamin C and they are (I think) 16 pkts for $2.99. Each packet flavors 10-16oz of Water. Where do you get these?
WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted May 15, 2007 Where do you get these? I've been looking for those as well and can't find them.
Lap_dancer 8 Posted May 15, 2007 Bubble these are AWESOME but I make them myself. All I do is take parm. cheese and nuke it in the micro. It melts and get golden bubbly on the edges. Take it out and let it cool. It will pull up off the plate because the fat cooks out of it. Hot for chewy, cool for crunchy. I have no clue why mine don't turn out like theirs. Well, actually I do. I can't cook. :youcandothis:
