How long to recoperate

Recommended Posts

I know everyone is different but about how long before I will be able to drive over to my office and work a little? I am a realtor and can set my own pace but what are some of your experiences timing-wise?:(

I would have been able to drive after 3 days. I waited and did what my dr suggested "5" days. I think it is really not a safety issue on your part but if someone hits you with a car even at a slow speed what it could do to your "new" surgery.

I would have been able to "drive over to my office and work a little" two days after surgery. If you can quit or rest when you need to, you can go whenever you feel up to it. You might very well have the energy a day or two out, but what surprises a lot of people is how quickly that energy can fade during early recovery. It definitely takes a few days for energy and full movement to return for the whole day.

I was driving without problems 3 days after surgery. It was just a little sore getting in and out of the care. My surgeon said it was ok to drive as soon as I was off the pain medicine. Just take it easy and for short distances the first couple of times and you'll be fine.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
