Mr Amir Kahn - Spire Little Aston does anyone have experience?

Hello,

I've just arrived here and am finding my way around the forum, so first things, first, HELLO.

I'm Andy and I have just agreed my date for surgery with Mr. Amir Kahn who practices at both Spire Little Aston near Birmingham and Nuffield, Wolverhampton. I have elected to have my procedure done on his home turf in Brum and am wondering if there is anybody here who has any experience of the great man..?

I'm due a sleeve rather than a band on the consultants advice and am now reading anything and everything that I can find to prepare me for the event. I guess this place will be a great resource and so I'll be around for a while.

I'm due surgery on October 25th and I have yet to see the dietitian to get me started on the pre-op regime.

So, greetings to all - and good luck to anyone ahead of me in the queue :)

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
