New nana 30 Posted September 16, 2014 the bottom right incision is where my surgeon pulled the stomach through. They to.d us before surgery that incision would be the most painful. I am 4 weeks out as of today and mine is still a little sore at times.
Rsims1985 1 Posted September 16, 2014 I am one week and a day post surgery and my right incision just suddenly bruised up more and is hiring also. But I believe my doctor said they were pulling the excess from the left incision next to the drain. But at least I know other people are feeling the same so that's conforting. Miss Mac 6,262 Posted September 16, 2014 My biggest incision (out of four) was tender for a couple of weeks. The smaller ones did not bother me at all.
nonnax2 30 Posted September 16, 2014 Thanks guys....I also have to take into consideration that I have had a Tummy Tuck in the past, which also tightens muscles in that area.....along with 2 other surgeries around that area...I think I may have been doing too much around the house...I'm home from work and bored! S(he) be(lie)ve(d) 151 Posted September 17, 2014 I am a week out from surgery. They said the right side would be the most bothersome. That is the side that they take the stomach out through. Just ice, ice, ice. It helps!
