motherof5 364 Posted September 24, 2014 @@Peekboo I have family in Norfolk. I was just down your way last month. Question: I want to dye my natural fro so bad. Would it be a good idea for me to do it now? I will be one month out on Friday.
LadyPullings 94 Posted September 24, 2014 I am sooo excited my date is Nov 14th! I am having my surgery in Mexico bcuz I don't want to jump through all the hoops! I'm looking forward 2 following everyone journey! ♥️
DivaDarling813 8 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm finally officially on my second day of my pre-op diet. I must say...not too bad! I truly thought I would be dying of starvation but my Protein Shakes have been keeping me quite satisfied. I wasnt sure if Unjury was going to live up to the hype, but they taste amazing (i've only tried chocolate Splender and vanilla so far)! It's the first Protein Drink I've tried that doesnt actually taste like a "protein drink". @@Melissayw816 I have to agree...the anticipation is killing me. I just want to get it over so I can actually have a good night sleep minus the crazy "surgery dreams". Lol! @ I fear the same thing. This surgery is as much about health as it is about image. I was blessed to inherit some nice curves and I REALLY want to keep them.
Peekboo 472 Posted September 24, 2014 Motherof5: Im not sure about the hair coloring although I see many people do on the youtube channels I watch about vsg. I dont color mine but I need a relaxer touch up and not sure about getting one so lose to my 8 Oct surgery date.
Peekboo 472 Posted September 24, 2014 Diva I too have had dreams that I may just me a bag of bones, lol. If you are curvy you probably will just have smaller curves after weight loss. My trainer said exercises with weights will help you not lose muscle tone.
motherof5 364 Posted September 24, 2014 Listen. I want to keep some butt nad hips too. But, at 4 weeks post op I noticed my butt is down. i do feel a little curviness in the hips. But my bottom was even hurting after riding my bike, and that never happened before. That started Saturday. I need to do some squats and lunges for real, lol. I hate lunges though, lol. DivaDarling813 8 Posted September 24, 2014 @@Peekboo Thanks for that tip. I just purchased some 10lb weights so I hope that does the trick. I've never seen myself without curves and I think that may be a scary sight for all to see. People may think I'm sick or dying! lol
Peekboo 472 Posted September 24, 2014 I think those lunges will help keep our bottoms lifted, lol. Just saying :-)
4EverChang'nSpy 44 Posted September 24, 2014 OK....this may sound like a real "big gul" but my preop diet starts Friday....so does that mean to live life (eat) 2 the fullest?!?!?! ...IJS lol
motherof5 364 Posted September 24, 2014 @Peekboo., I know I know. I just don't like them cause they are so hard to me. But hopefully with me being lighter, it will be much easier now. Any workout suggestions?
motherof5 364 Posted September 24, 2014 @, lol. I can honestly say that I did have me my Last meal. I knew once I got home, I had to do my liver shrink for two weeks. But I am good now though.
