theshrinkingdutchess 45 Posted September 10, 2014 Get it check asap ! Go to emergency and make them do a ultrasound of your leg. That's how my blood clot started. I walked around for a week in pain and almost killed myself. This is not something to be shy about.
Nicolanz 1,484 Posted September 10, 2014 I agree go to the ER!
WhoKnows 288 Posted September 10, 2014 Agreed! We all get spooked by body changes and adjustments in the beginning, but I think considering your recent medical history, no one in the ER would think you were overreacting. Get it checked immediately, and when you have time, let us know how it goes.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted September 10, 2014 Oh my goodness! I hope you recover soon, and I agree with the others that you need to push for an ultrasound. Better safe than sorry, eh?
Rena's got this 274 Posted September 11, 2014 A blood clot can break off and lodge in your lungs, resulting in a pulmonary embolism. People have died from that. Get your leg checked ASAP...please!
hhp29 26 Posted September 17, 2014 thanks for all the advice. i did go get it checked out and i had blood clots in both of my lungs. i spent a week in the hospital again.there is a good chance this had nothing to do with my surgery but is actually from the accident i was in a week after. i got to come home today and i still get alil winded walking around but i think its getting better. i have to be on blood thinner for a few months. i have still lost weight last week even sitting in hospital all day which is good! now i have to get back on routine with my proper diet. Miss Mac 6,262 Posted September 17, 2014 OMG, I am so glad you are OK. This is a good reminder to all of us to not disregard symptoms when our body is trying to tell us something. I am thankful that you asked questions and that you called your doctor.
