I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to most, having surgery or taking 4 weeks off from work. I have two more weeks until surgery and my motivation at work is non-existent. I'm not normally like this, maybe it's because I know time off is coming.

LOL, you guys what's classically known as "short-timers syndrome!"

It's hard to stay focused at work when you know you have this big life changing event coming up, "and" you're going to have some R&R time at home. It's OK. Before you know it, you will be busy recovering & re-learning how to eat healthier. Youll be well on your way.

Hang in there ladies. It will all work out :)

Good for you for giving yourself time to heal! And have fun! (Once week 1 is over, that is...)

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
