joatsaint 2,814 Posted September 8, 2014 I like my lentils cooked in beef broth, garlic, and onion. They take on a great beefy flavor. But I always cook mine. I want them to soak in the flavors. It take about 45 minutes of boiling to cook the green lentils and about 20 minutes to cook red lentils.
motherof5 364 Posted October 8, 2014 I made some awesome curried lentils the other day. It was so good. I had onions(love onions), fresh garlic, unsweetened coconut milk, Water, cumin, and fresh oregano. Of courseI could only eat maybe two tablespoons, but still good.
