Brachioplasty-Arm Lift completed! Dr. Juan Pablo Cervantes

Recommended Posts

I had this surgery done this last July in the US. I had not worn shirts to show my arms in 20+ years and now I show my arms as much as possible. I had no pain at all. I took one pain pill and only took it because I was afraid not to. I did not have drain tubes either. Easy, easy recovery. I was back to my weight/cardio exercise class in 2 weeks. Best decision I ever made.

Any pictures to share? If I can afford it, this would be my surgery after reaching goal. Have not shown above my elbow in over 30 yrs. Glad you said there was no pain and recovery was easy.

Not sure if you're looking to go out of the country but what I did was first went to a Plastic surgeon in my city for a $40.00 consultation and quote to see if I needed to lose more weight first and if I was a good candidate for the surgery. They printed out the quote (OUCH!) and instructions on what to expect. This made me feel more comfortable about doing the surgery and then we have a FB group that the patients have started online that have had surgery with Dr. Cervantes.< /p>

Wow! You look so much healthier and happier! You and your arms look awesome!

<p>I did it! had my surgery on 9/1/14 in Mexico with Dr. Juan Pablo Cervantes in Tijuana. So far everything has been amazing. No real pain at all. I had it much worse plated out in my head. I stayed from Sunday (night before) and left Friday morning. Drains were removed Thursday and stitches will dissolve anywhere from 120/150 days. I'm to take weekly pics to send to him to review and he is available to me anytime I have a question or concern. Amazing difference!</p> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <p> </p>

Thank you for all the info and you look amazing. I also need my arms done. Can you tell me if that $3200 was just the surgeon or did it also include the hospital stay, etc. thanks again!

Wow what a transformation....you look great! So happy for you. Do you have other surgeries planned? I did my arms, face/neck and breasts/implants first, then 4 months ago I did the lower body lift and the thigh lift...It's a journey to say the least!!!

Congratulations! I had multiple procedures done at once but the arms were life changing. I love my toned looking arms. My scars are barely visible and well hidden, well placed.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
