mrsaizsha_101 23 Posted September 3, 2014 Hey, for my insurance united health it says I have to have 6mnths of monitored weightloss. I have had a certified personal trainer for 7 months, was apart of a workout company (FIF) for 9mnths and joined a gym a yr ago. Does this qualify for weightloss monitoring?? Has anyone sumbitted references like this and be cleared?? Im unsure because they are not doctors although they are certified and incorporated. Any advice would be helpful! mrsaizsha_101 23 Posted September 4, 2014 Thank u! I have not seen my bariatric doc yet bcuz their still waiting on documents from my insurance to make sure im covered even tho they already told them im covered... it sucks bcuz its just wasting more time. In the mean time im trying to do other things that would be required. Do I have to see a cardiologist? Can I do that before I see the bariatric doctor if I have a referral from my PCP?
