I went to my first informational meeting on Wednesday and really learned a lot about the procedure. I thought it would all scare me off, but it gave me so much hope!

The office manager just called me and said that my insurance is great! I don't have to have any pre-requisites, other than a BMI of 40 to qualify!:faint: (The funny thing is I am right at 39 and she said I should just eat heavy before my next meeting and gain a couple of pounds so my BMI will raise to 40! I can do that! No problem! Its going to be a fun weekend actually trying to GAIN weight!

I was so scared that I would have to jump through all those hoops most of you have gone through only to find out I wouldn't be able to do it.

I guess nothing is for certain yet, but I am going to schedule my first real consulation on Monday and we will go from there.
