Jessiegirl30 149 Posted August 31, 2014 I have now lost 50kgs !! Since June 2013 50kgs is a Big deal to anyone who uses the metric system it's like the same deal Americans get when they loose 100lbs FYI my surgery was in April this year I am so happy and it's hard to believe I used to weigh so much more and yes i still have 25kgs (55lbs) to go till I get to my goal weight food ahh food I hate it and love it at the same time, I haven't been sick for a long time now so I feel I know my limitations I still get quite upset when I have 2 mouthfuls of something and am full but hey this is my life for the time being so not much I can do about it . Anyway happy Monday
Katcloudshepherd 630 Posted August 31, 2014 Jessiegirl30, Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I'm learning how to eat to live not live to eat. It's a process that everyone that has weight loss surgery must undergo to retain that successful weight loss. Wishing you continued progress and health, Kathleen
FairySleeve 297 Posted August 31, 2014 50 kg!! wow! Congrats!! that's actually the amount of weight that my surgeon aimed to get rid of me the first time I saw him and he only gave me 6 months!!! I lost 8 kg (pre-op) and I was sleeved in July 2014, so far I've lost 12.4 kg post-op and total 20.4 kg. I think I'm a slow loser, this month I only lost 3.5 kg, but I'll take it :-) I guess my surgeon might be disappointed a little because he expected me to lose around 5 kg per month but I'm very pleased with the results. I have 33 kg to reach my doctor's gold and 37 kg to my goal and I'll try my best. For you it's only 25 Kg to go! Keep up good work!! Cheers!!
