My insurance wont be effective for a few more days but I wanted to know what is the process like going through UHC (United Health Care)? Do they require 6 months of monitor weightloss?? My bariatric doctor told me as long as i had 4-6 visits w/ my PCP i should be fine however he cant confirm becuz the insurance change their requirements all the time. Hopefully I dont have to wait 6 months! Im ready to kick depression in the face and feel good again!!... Have u had ur surgery yet? How has the journey been for u? Has the insurance given u a hard time? I have my surgery sept 8th, My journey actually have been great I had to do the 6 month medically supervised diet and lose 14lbs but I lost more. mrsaizsha_101 23 Posted August 31, 2014 Having kids will definitely do it! I was 135 before I had my son. I went up to 230 when I had him. Went down to 200 then I had my daughter and went up to 275.
