tifkins 2 Posted August 30, 2014 I'm Day7 Post op--- every single sip I take there's a pain in my sternum or back. It feels like I still have gas in me from the surgery. Is this possible. I've been walking and taking so much GasX over this past week I don't know why there would still Be any gas in me. Does anyone else get this pain. If so how long did it last. It's very hard to stay hydrated when it hurts to drink anything.. Water, G2, unsweet tea etc. Help please Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
blondebomb 580 Posted August 30, 2014 Did u have hernia repair as well? I did..an I had them esophagus spasms for about a wk..it finally slowed down an stopped. My internists told me it would take close to 6 months for inside to heal. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I stayed 2 full days so I could get the iv fluids I knew if I left I would end up in er connected up again an I hate needles! Lol.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
