Two weeks until surgery

As of tomorrow, I will be two weeks away from having my sleeve done. Like most of us at our ages, I had surgeries before so I am not afraid of pain, discomfort, etc. I am excited to be having it and wish I had known about surgery in Mexico a few years ago.

I am 63, healthy, 4' 11", and 165 lbs. insurance will not cover it because I am not big enough and they say having it done for the complications (T2D, HBP) is still considered experimental unless I weigh about 200 lbs. So, Mexico, here I come!

I hope our little older support group will continue to go. I appreciate coming here knowing we all understand our aging bodies. Thank you for being here! :-)
