terry1118 1,274 Posted August 28, 2014 Relax. You are weighing too much. Concentrate on the important things - like Protein and fluids - and stay away from the scale. :-)
pik 262 Posted August 29, 2014 Yep. Happens to me all the time but no biggie. It just goes back on down!
mitzie46 116 Posted August 31, 2014 It happened to me in the beginning and I also got extremely upset. Don't worry, it will go back down. The stalls were frustrating too but now I just try to roll with it.
ashleyann1405 7 Posted September 1, 2014 Thank you everyone. I'm trying to concentrate on anything but the scale.
Ginger Snaps 1,323 Posted September 2, 2014 One pound could be so many things -- if you drank more Water than usual, if you need to poop, if you're close to your period... Just do what you're supposed to do and don't fret over the day to day weighs... as long as the overall trend is downward, you'll do great.
pik 262 Posted September 2, 2014 I gained 2 lbs since yesterday. I go up and down, up and down. I am really in a stall right now but that is ok, I am trying to get better from a rough recovery. I would rather feel better than worry about the weight right now.
Wallflower7522 328 Posted September 6, 2014 Yup, it happens. Could be that you're getting more fluids in. Don't stress about it. You're going to lose weight like crazy, then stall, and then maybe gain a pound. It's all part of the journey. At the point now, if I loose a few lbs over night, I know at least one or two will be back the next day if I hydrate myself well. I lost 8lbs almost over night from being sick and not being able to eat or drink but I got a lot more in yesterday and I know when I go weigh today half of that will probably have come back. But I'm not going to stress about it. I know that's easier said than done, it took me a long time to get to that point but you can't let that number on the scale drive you crazy. As long as you're doing what you're suppose to, it's going to come off.
