Krazyklaws 9 Posted August 27, 2014 OK, so tomorrow's the big day and I go in for my surgery. I'm a little bit terrified, but excited and looking forward to the results. These forums have been a wealth of advice for me. Does anyone have any last minute pearls of wisdom for me before I go?
JCP 619 Posted August 27, 2014 I still have two weeks to go before surgery but I think keeping a positive attitude makes a lot of difference in any recovery! So I say, relax, go in with a big smile, be very proud of yourself for taking this step, and focus on your great days ahead! Prayers for a swift recovery for you! BG- 8 Posted August 28, 2014 Remember to breathe! Try to stay calm, and trust your surgeon and nurses. Take some lip balm, a comb, and a phone charger, and you'll be fine Congrats and good luck!
Krazyklaws 9 Posted August 29, 2014 Thank you all for your replies. So I'm sleeved! Not feeling too bad considering. The surgeon discovered that I had a massive hiatus hernia which he also had to fix so I got 2 surgeries for the price of one! He said that my recovery may be slower because of it, but 24 hours later I'm doing ok. So, now the hard work really starts xx
