Dana825 82 Posted September 24, 2014 Dana, I'm EXCITED! I'm on day 2 of liquid pre-op and lost 7lbs so far. I am starting to feel the effects already of no sugar, caffeine, carbs...but like you said...ONLY 12 MORE DAYS! That's awesome, wondering how many pounds I will lose. I'm not going to weigh myself until next Tuesday. I can lose 30 lbs. and still proceed with surgery, that would be so excellent . I'm very happy our time is approaching. pink1028 6 Posted September 25, 2014 I have a friend that is having the surgery too and she ordered different Protein drinks, she bought the drinks not the shakes but they taste good. It is what I plan on getting for my clear liquids(just no red). The have 40 grams of Protein too. I've noticed a lot of people saying they have purchased Isopure. Is that because your surgeon suggested it? Or because of another reason? Just curious.

I had to slowly decrease my intake because I was getting headaches but didn't realize my headaches were a result of it until I met with my NUT. I didn't realize I was drinking so much coffee while at work. I'm with you, we've come to far now to mess up. Six meals through out the day will be a huge challenge for me when I return to work. We can do it though!! Stay in touch and I'll do the same. We're almost there !!
Dana825 82 Posted September 25, 2014 I bought Body Fortress today at Walmart for 16.98 I haven't tried the Body Fortress, how is it? I currently have Unjury Protein. I bought different flavors so I could switch up, but I would like to know about other great Proteins. I'm drinking the Premier Protein shakes now on my pre-op. Premier is an excellent shake.< /p>

friejenn 42 Posted September 25, 2014 I've noticed a lot of people saying they have purchased Isopure. Is that because your surgeon suggested it? Or because of another reason? Just curious. i watched some u tube videos of others with gastric sleeve. The clear is low calorie no carbs & 40 GM of Protein. The powders are 50gm protein, no carb or low carb for 200 calories and they taste pretty good

Jen - a work in progress 178 Posted September 25, 2014 I've noticed a lot of people saying they have purchased Isopure. Is that because your surgeon suggested it? Or because of another reason? Just curious. My surgeon recommended bipro Protein because it's an isolate protein and doesn't have a bunch of added fillers like most protein powders do. I've also heard a lot of good reviews on Unjury protein powders.
Jen - a work in progress 178 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) I just noticed that when you type Un Jury without the space it converts it into a link... Like it did my previous post. I only wrote "good reviews on un jury Protein powders" Interesting lol Edited September 25, 2014 by Jen - a work in progress
