Beach Lover 1,084 Posted August 25, 2014 After the surgery you will experience some pretty good fatigue however your body should feel okay by day 10. I traveled back home 2 days after surgery and did fine. You can do the surgery but plan on some exhaustion and mental stress from giving up your friend (food). This does pass but it did take me about 9 weeks to feel like myself again. In addition after the surgery you might feel like you can't walk a straight line for a few weeks. I tripped over myself and walked silly for a week or two. If your schedule isn't to demanding you should be okay. Just keep up with your Vitamins every day! I am 1 year and 3 months post op and have lost 120 pounds and it was the best thing I ever did for myself! Best of luck to you!!
