Change it up 62 Posted August 25, 2014 Hi! I'm so excited! I finally got my surgery date and it's set for September 15th. I start the pre-op liquid diet on the 2nd. Parts of me are scared and other parts of me are excited. Anyone else out there getting sleeved on that day or around it? BTW, I'm in Illinois and using Silver Cross Hospital. Thanks. And GOOD LUCK to everyone!

Marinda 2 Posted September 18, 2014 I am still very nauseous. Haven't gotten enough fluids in yet. I try to push it but then my poor tummy hurts. Hopefully it will work itself out.
CathieT 5 Posted September 18, 2014 I was sleeved on Monday Sept. 15 and came home yesterday Wednesday Sept 17.. I am doing really well and I'm walking to get rid of gas pains.. the gas pains are horrible and wake me up at night.. its like someone set a 50lb weight right in the middle of my breastbone.. I have not gotten all of my fluids in yet but my guess is that will come in time.. I only take pain med when I need them an am taking all of the required Vitamins etc. I'm still a bit sore but it's nothing I can't handle. I know everyone's experiences are different.. and everyone's pain tolerance levels are different too.. just wondering about the gas pains.. how are you all handling them? Marinda 2 Posted September 18, 2014 I was released on Tuesday the 16th. I only had a few bouts of gas pain after I came home. Usually when I laid down in bed or when I sat up getting out of bed. I haven't had any gas pain today at all.
