mchiasson68 15 Posted August 25, 2014 Excited but nervous. Had my funeral meal tonight. One last treat of Louisiana seafood. I'm ready to start this. I'm paying for the surgery and am hoping I don't have to jump through all the hoops the insurance co.requires. What should I expect on this first visit ? I already have current blood work and a car scan of my abdomen. I am starting aquatic physical therapy in the morning for my hip and to get my exercise routine in place. Any other suggestions? fezik23 240 Posted August 25, 2014 It's exciting, isn't it? My first meeting with my surgeon was a non-event, though. He asked a lot of questions to make sure I knew what I was getting into, asked about my health history, and looked at my upper abdomen. mchiasson68 15 Posted August 26, 2014 Meeting went well. Getting an upper GI test done and my gall bladder checked. Other than that should be in surgery in 3-4 weeks. Starting pre-op diet tomorrow.
