I used to require a size 13 M or even 13 W. Now I can wear a 12WW. My feet are long and they have gotten "skinnier". I notice there is actually a noticeable space between my toes! It helps me tremendously because there aren't many woman's shoe companies that make a size 13 but many make size 12WW. Still depends on the style for comfort in wearing. I don't wear ANY heels--don't' need to and my knees and back could never take wearing heels. I always wear flats.

I've lost 120 pounds and now weigh 118. My feet were 9w. Now they are a... 9. WTH? My daughter summed it up for me when she came over last time when she looked at my feet and said "Mom, you lost so much weight but you still have GIANT HOBBIT FEET!!!". Don't be jealous, girls, she'll ALL mine!! Lol

Thanks to her I can't help but think of my feet as Hobbit feet now... :-p

I say that my husband has Hobbit feet. Because Hobbits have hairy feet. I'm picturing you as this petite tiny thing with hairy feet!!!

I was in a 12w or 13. I couldn't wear strappy shoes of any sort. Now I can fit into a regular 11 in most shoes and a 12 in sandals.

Yes! I lost a shoe size after about 50 pounds. Flats and some of the sandals had to go if I was walking out of them. Boots and shoes that can be worn with thicker socks got the Dr. Scholls double pillow insole treatment! Gotta say, they ARE cushy now!

I still wear a size 9. I've lost almost 100 lbs! My feet are haters. LOL! My feet were a size 8.5 from puberty onward, then went up to a 9 in my 20s.

I've just had to tighten my shoelaces for the second time since my surgery 9 weeks ago.

AND...

I can now tie my laces and breathe at the same time!!!

I cannot wait to fit into all of those beautiful shoes that I bought but never wore because they were just too tight. Yes, I kept them enshrined in my shoe closet...soon they will walk back into the world!!!!!!!

No real change in shoe size, wore an 8 to 8.5W before but I did have to toss some shoes that I had stretched out. I have wide feet and big calves regardless of my weight.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
