Emily Duncan 0 Posted August 24, 2014 My name is Emily. I had the lap band in 2007 and I have not been as successful as I had intended. To me, it seems that having the lap band has only created more issues in my life. Since having the lap band I have been unable to actually sit down and have a meal or drink. The doctors have tried everything and the problem remains. I have recently decided to undergo a band to sleeve revision rather then just a band removal. I am interested to hear from everyone regarding their experiences but would like to hear about anyone else who has had this revision. I am hesitant but my cousin has the sleeve and has been extremely successful. Also, I am interested to hear from anyone who can recommend a good dr in the spring, tx area.
