It wasn't really a meltdown, just a short drama llama.

Twitter is the best invention ever made to encourage over-sharing. Unless you have an anonymous Twitter account, all your posts can be seen by everyone on the internet. It's not like Facebook where you post only to your friends or subsets of friends.

If she needs support, she should come over here, tell her story, and get meaningful responses that are longer than 144 characters.

I couldn't agree with you more! IMHO BariatricPal is the best social network for anything related to Weight Loss Surgery . We try to support people interested in WLS, regardless where they post. Maybe suggest she jump on over here for support. I can't personally do that since we don't solicit for members on social networks.
